Citadel contributes to families in need.

This past December, Citadel Insurance employees came together to embrace the spirit of giving during the festive season. Through various Christmas staff activities, our team united to collect a remarkable number of reusable shopping bags in response to the “Spare a Bag Appeal” announced by the Foodbank Lifeline Foundation. These contributions, accompanied by a generous cash donation, will provide essential groceries to over 350 families supported by the Foundation across Malta and Gozo.

The initiative underscores Citadel Insurance’s commitment to making a tangible difference in our community. By participating in the appeal, our employees not only helped address an immediate need but also promoted sustainability by encouraging the use of reusable bags. Each bag collected will play a small but impactful role in delivering vital food supplies to families facing difficult circumstances.

The Foodbank Lifeline Foundation is a beacon of hope for many, and its work continues to be vital throughout the year. While Christmas is a time when generosity often peaks, the need for support remains constant. At Citadel, we are proud to contribute to such a worthy cause and hope our actions inspire others to get involved.
