In line with the Company’s on-going digital transformation strategy, an opportunity has arisen within the Information Technology department in the role of IT Support Representative.
Responsibilities include:
- Provide 1st and 2nd line support to business users in relation to both hardware and software issues
- Resolve issues in a timely manner to reduce impact on business operations
- Liaise with external suppliers and third parties when necessary
- Troubleshoot hardware, networking and software issues and carry out appropriate fixes / solutions
- Follow best practices and recommend improvements and/or updates where applicable
- Carry out installation of computer hardware, printers, operating systems, and applications
- Assist other members of the I.T. team as, and when necessary, depending on workload and project deliverables
Experience
- Previous experience in a similar role, or relevant certifications/training achieved
- Knowledge of Operating Systems, Active Directory, Microsoft Exchange, Office 365, Backup procedures etc
- Experience in using Jira Service Desk (or equivalent) for managing incidents and support requests
- Perform effective resolution of support requests within specific timeframes and according to priority
- Possess strong problem-solving skills, and proactively seek to improve the support service to the business users
- Be able to work as part of a team or individually as required
