Choose your preferred option to renew your policy online

Through our website

This option is available for renewal of motor, home and marine policies.

1. Login to your account or Register here if you are a new user.
2. Create a login name and password of your choice and we will instantly confirm activation of your account via e-mail.
3. Select the policy which you would like to renew.
4. Amend the sum/s insured if required, premium amount will be adjusted accordingly.
5. Proceed with the payment. An electronic receipt will be sent once payment has been effected. The relevant policy documentation will be sent by mail.
6. If you are renewing your motor insurance, the road license must be renewed through the Transport Malta website. You will be able to renew your license after you renew your insurance. Please allow 2-3 working days for delivery of your road license when renewing online.

Through Citadel’s Mobile App

This option is available for renewal of motor, home and marine policies.

1. Download the Citadel App from Google Play
2. Login with your account username and password or Register through the App if you are a new user.
3. Create a login name and password of your choice and we will instantly confirm activation of your account via e-mail.
4. Select the policy which you would like to renew.
5. Amend the sum/s insured if required, premium amount will be adjusted accordingly.
6. Proceed with the payment. An electronic receipt will be sent once payment has been effected. The relevant policy documentation will be sent by mail.
7. If you are renewing your motor insurance, the road license must be renewed through the Transport Malta website. You will be able to renew your license after you renew your insurance. Please allow 2-3 working days for delivery of your road license when renewing online.

Through Internet Banking

This option is available for renewal of all policies.

You may renew your insurance policy through your bank’s Internet Banking facility.

When renewing through HSBC or BOV please select the following through the online Bill payment facility:

Citadel Insurance non-life – for motor, home, boat, health or business policy renewal

Citadel Insurance - life – for a life policy renewal

If you are renewing your motor policy through internet banking you can send the payment for both the insurance and the road license. Please allow 2-3 working days for delivery of your road license when renewing online.
