Malta Institute of Taxation Group Discount Scheme

As a member of Malta Institute of Taxation you are entitled to the following discounted premiums on insurance policies purchased from Citadel Insurance plc.

12% discount on Motor Insurance 

• The 12% discount is applicable to standard motor insurance policies.
• In the case of ‘Roadwise’ and ‘Eco Motor’, the discount applicable is 5%. 
• The discount is not applicable to ‘Limited Mileage’ policies.
• 12% discount is applicable on Comprehensive policies, in the case of Third Party Fire & Theft policies the discount applicable is 5%. 
• The Minimum Premium (excluding document duty) shall apply even after taking any discount/offer into consideration.

10% discount on Health insurance 

• The discount is applicable on individual policies only.

12% discount on Home Insurance

• The discount applies to home insurance policies including buildings and contents cover.
• The discount does not apply to ‘Eco Home’.
• A Minimum Premium of €85 (excluding document duty) shall apply even after taking any discount/offer into consideration.

10% discount on Home4Loan Buildings Insurance

• A Minimum Premium of €45 (excluding document duty) shall apply even after taking any discount/offer into consideration.

10% discount on Boat Insurance

• A Minimum Premium of €150 shall apply even after taking any discount / offer into consideration.

10% discount on Personal Accident Insurance

• A Minimum Premium of €125 (excluding document duty) shall apply even after taking any discount/offer into consideration.

5% discount on Travel Insurance

5% discount on Photovoltaic Panels Insurance

• A Minimum Premium of €60 (excluding document duty) shall apply even after taking any discount/offer into consideration.

12% discount on Weddings insurance

12% discount on Business Insurance

10% discount on Life Insurance Reducing & Level Term Policies

• 10% discount is applicable on Reducing and Level Term Policies on the first year premium only with a minimum premium of €100 (excluding Policy Fees)

• If you have a Solar Water Heater/ PV system installed at your private residence or drive a hybrid or electric car, speak to us to find out more about the Eco discounts applicable on home and motor insurance.

The above discounts are applicable to each member of Malta Institute of Taxation and his/her immediate family members. The above discounts do not apply in conjunction with any other discount/ offer. The group scheme discount will still apply in the case of discounts for clients who have more than one policy or no claims discount.
