Summary of Cover

Under the Home4Loan policy, buildings are covered for loss or damage caused by the following risks:

• Fire & smoke 
• Explosion  
• Lightning and thunderbolt 
• Earthquake 
• Riot strikes and labour disturbances 
• Aircraft and other aerial devices or anything dropped from them 
• Storm or flood (including overflow from the sea) 
• Theft or attempted theft 
• Escape of water from any fixed domestic water, drainage or heating installation including washing machines or dishwashers 
• Impact by any motor vehicle / animal
• Breakage or collapse of television or radio aerials, externally fixed satellite receiving dishes, their fittings and masts 
• Malicious acts or vandalism 
• Falling trees, lamp posts, electricity, flag and telephone poles or any parts of them 
• Architect’s and surveyor’s fees, debris removal and additional costs of reinstatement as a result of local authority requirements 
• Breakage of fixed glass, sanitary fittings and ceramic hobs in fixed appliances
