What do I do if I have a claim?

  1. You should contact us immediately to provide us with details of the incident.  Our claims department can be contacted during office hours on phone number(s) (+356) 25579000 .

    Alternatively you can email us at homeclaims@citadelplc.com or download a claims form. We can also send you the necessary claim form by the end of a specified time period. Return the properly filled out forms as soon as possible to avoid delays.
  2. If you are aware of the possibility of a liability claim, you must send us any claim, writ or summons as soon as you receive it. Do not negotiate,  pay, settle, admit or deny any claim without our written permission.
  3. If you are the victim of a theft or your home has been vandalised report it to the police. Get a police report and the names of all law enforcement officers that you speak with. After the police have seen the premises, take reasonable steps to protect and secure your property from further damage. 
  4. If you have suffered water damage, try to minimise the loss or damage by removing any accumulated water.
  5. Always refer to us before you throw away any damaged items or start repairs.
