If you are aware of the possibility of a liability claim, you must send us any claim, writ or summons as soon as you receive it. Do not negotiate, pay, settle, admit or deny any claim without our written permission.
If you are the victim of a theft or your home has been vandalised report it to the police. Get a police report and the names of all law enforcement officers that you speak with. After the police have seen the premises, take reasonable steps to protect and secure your property from further damage.
If you have suffered water damage, try to minimise the loss or damage by removing any accumulated water.
