  • In the case of a front-to-rear collision you do not need to call the traffic wardens or the police but the front-to-rear form should be completed and duly signed by all drivers involved in the accident.
  • Providing it is a front-to-rear collision, you should not move the car before the arrival of the police or the traffic wardens.
  • In the case that any witnesses saw the accident, you should take their particulars, including, names, addresses and telephone numbers.
  • Even if you deem you are at fault for the accident, do not admit liability at the scene.
  • Write down details of the accident and draw a sketch map of what happened. If you have a camera, take photos.
